SALON POLICIES
Appointment & Cancellation Policy
To secure your appointment, a $100 deposit for colour services is required when booking over the phone. For online bookings, the system will automatically calculate and apply the deposit. This deposit is held on your account.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must provide at least 48 hours' notice. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new appointment if the required notice is given.
If less than 48 hours' notice is provided, or you fail to attend your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be charged 50% of the service cost.
Confirmation texts and emails are sent days before your appointment. If you do not confirm and we cannot reach you by phone, your appointment may be offered to another client. Please ensure you confirm promptly. The only way you can confirm is by paying the deposit.
Late Arrival Policy
We understand unforeseen circumstances can cause delays. However, punctuality is important to keep the salon running smoothly.
If you arrive up to 15 minutes late, your stylist may need to shorten or adjust your service to stay on schedule.
If you are 15 minutes or more late, your stylist may need to reschedule your appointment. In this case, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required for your rebooking.
Clothing Protection Policy
While we take the utmost care during all services, Hair by Knight is not responsible for any damage to clothing or items that may occur during your appointment (including staining from colour, bleach, or styling products).
We kindly ask that clients wear suitable clothing for their service. Protective gowns are always provided, and we recommend avoiding wearing expensive or delicate garments to your appointment.
Service Correction Policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days to discuss your concerns.
A follow-up consultation and in-salon visit must occur within 2 weeks of your original appointment for any corrections.
Corrections within this timeframe are free of charge.
The original stylist must be the one to perform the correction.
Refunds or partial refunds will not be provided if you choose not to allow us the opportunity to resolve your concerns.
We do not provide refunds or complimentary re-dos for change of mind.
